Heading up an organization like the Salvation Army presents it's challenges. The new man in charge in Panama City has settled in after taking over last summer and is tackling those challenges head on.
Major Caleb Prieto says he wants to pick up where previous officers have left off and move forward toward other challenges. Major Prieto says he wants to advance the Salvation Army mission along with moving forward with all the programs and reach the most people possible and make a difference in the community.
Prieto arrived here from Port Charlotte and says it's been gratifying to experience the support from the people in Bay and surrounding Counties the organization serves. The 49 year old has served as an officer with the Salvation Army for over 20 years.
