A pedestrian suffered critical injuries Friday night when she was struck by an SUV while walking in the middle of a Walton County highway.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scenes on US Highway 98, west of County Road 30A, at 10:41 p.m. Friday.
According to the FHP, Natasha Pascoe of Santa Rosa Beach was wearing dark clothing and walking in the roadway near the median when she was hit. The driver of the 2013 Toyota Sequoia, Timothy Eggena of Hamilton, Georgia, told troopers he did not see Pascoe in the roadway.
Pasco, 25, was airlifted to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola for treatment.
