Panama City Beach police arrest two suspects in an armed robbery early this morning.

It happened shortly after midnight.

Authorities say the armed robbery victims flagged down a Panama City Beach police officer in a Burger King parking lot. They told police they were robbed at gun point inside the overpass at Edgewater Beach Resort by six black males, and provided descriptions of two suspects.

Officers arrested 17 year old Maynard Fuse of Jonesboro, GA and 17 year old Jamel Smith of Stone Mountain, GA. Authorities say Smith initially fled from police but Fuse was arrested without incident and confessed.

The two were charged with principal to armed robbery and resisting an officer without violence. The investigation is ongoing.
