If you think the tax season can be a hectic time for you, try being a Tax Preparer. It can certainly be challenging, but in the case of Maureen Gilley of H&R Block, she actually thrives on the stress of the season.
With all the changes that come about every year Gilley says it's just a matter of adjusting. She says she has to take a certain number of hours of tax classes all through the summer and fall and get updated on the changes.
Maureen says one of the most satisfying parts of the job is helping people accomplish their goals. Gilley reminds everyone you can file an extension and get an extra six months to prepare your tax return.
