Mosley Dedicates Plague And Water Fountain Before Game With Bay

Last June, the Mosley baseball family grieved the loss of former Dolphin Drew Maclean, who lost his life in a car accident. Drew was a part of the 2002 Baseball State Championship team and Thursday Mosley honored his legacy.

Mosley hosted, "live like drew night" before Thursday Night's Dolphin match-up with Bay High where fans and supporters gathered as Mosley revealed a plaque to remember Drew and his influence on those around him both on and off the field. Along with the plaque a water fountain and a shade tree were also dedicated to Drew.

Drew's older brother Marc said he and his family have been overwhelmed with the support and that Drew loved Mosley, so the fact that he'll be remembered with the theme "live like drew" means a lot.

Marc said, "i think it's just a testament to what an amazing person drew was, and i can say it not even as his family member, but just as a friend of his. it's just obvious from the reaction from everybody else that the impact he's had on so many people. it's humbling and tells us there's something out there to be said for doing the right thing you're entire life."

After the dedication Mosley looking for a big win to honor Drew and close out the season on a high note as they took on the Tornadoes. Mosley goes on to get the 11-1 win.
