Don't be alarmed if you hear a few engines roaring in Panama City Beach. The new Harley Davidson dealership is now open.
The store opened its doors Saturday morning to a huge crowd of motorcycle enthusiasts.
The owners say it's more than just a store; it's an "experience." The nearly 38 thousand square foot dealership offers the full line of American made motorcycles, a customer lounge, riding lessons, and everything riders will need.
It dealership was in the works for years and enthusiasts are glad it's finally here.
"We planned to build it, open up in 2008, but with the economy, we decided to wait. Then sometime around 2010, we started to get the construction going again, and the oil spill hit, so put that off, and here we are, it's open," said Gary Bang, one of the owners.
The owners also have three other full-service Harley Davidson dealerships in South Florida.
