Friends and family of missing Bay County teen, Emily Paul gathered Saturday in prayer; asking God for her safe return.
The 14 year old has been missing from her Southport home since April 13th.
News 13 attended the prayer vigil at Trinity Worship Center in Southport.
It was an emotional reminder that Emily's family is doing whatever they can to ensure her safe return.
Pictures of the smiling teenager graced the walls of the small sanctuary.
Silent prayers and tears were shared among the friends and family in attendance.
Emily's Uncle, Mike Murphy, spoke of the hope that surrounded the service and their efforts to find the missing teen.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a missing child alert to help locate Emily.
Investigators have said this doesn't fit the typical teenage runaway scenario. She may have been picked up by a vehicle and is potentially in harms way.
Meanwhile, her family continues to ask for the public's help for any information on her whereabouts.
"She's in the lord's hands. We're trusting in the Lord that we'll be able to rejoice when she comes home. Emily, we love you. Your mom and dad love you. The family loves you. Please contact someone. We're waiting for you," said Murphy
If you have any in formation you can call the Bay County Sheriff's Office at 747-4700 or Crime Stoppers at 785-TIPS.
