Open Fire Cooking Class on April 27

Posted: Updated:

Those stainless steel pots and pans work just fine, but there's no reason not to venture to the past.

Gail Mount, of Mount Family Farms, stopped by News 13 This Morning to talk about her upcoming open fire cooking classes. People will learn how to cook using cast iron cookware. Mount says the purpose of the class is to teach younger generations how to utilize the old way of doing things.

Classes are only $10 and will be held on April 27 at 10 a.m. at the Possum Palace in Wausau, Fla. Participants will be able to eat what they cook and are asked to register beforehand by calling 850-596-1452.
