Every year, thousands of babies are born premature.
With the help of March of Dimes, many have survived. The organization is holding their annual March of Dimes march on April 27. Registration starts at 8 p.m. The march begins at 9 p.m. The event will be held at McKenzie Park, 144 Harrison Ave.
James Bailey, a volunteer with the organization, came stopped by News 13 This Morning to talk about the his involvement with the event and how it's celebrating 75 years of dedication toward assisting families with premature babies.
