St. Andrews Waterfront Farmers Market to Open Marina Pavilion

Posted: Updated:

The St. Andrew's Marina Pavilion will now be open to shoppers during the Saturday market starting tomorrow. Vendors will now take their place under the shade of the pavilion with produce, seafood, and crafts.

A new ferry service will also provide a connection from Smiths Yacht Basin to the pavilion by the Betsy Ann Riverboat.

Rob Rosner with the St. Andrews Community Redevelopment Agency says three new vendors will also be featured at Saturdays market selling strawberries, blueberries, and doing face painting.

"Normally we start out on the marina and we expand over to Highway 98," said Rosner. "This year we did a little bit of reverse to get some exposure out on 98 because a lot of people have asked.

"So, we went ahead and made a big splash about having the marina open this year."

The St. Andrew's Waterfront Farmers Market will operate under special hours. Vendors will be open from 9 am to 2 PM Saturday only.
