Bay Medical Sacred Heart to Transition Outpatient Pharmacy Services to CVS

Bay Medical Sacred Heart and CVS/pharmacy announced today that Sacred Heart will transition its Panama City outpatient pharmacy services to the nearby CVS/pharmacy at 660 East Business Highway 98. All prescription files at Bay Medical Sacred Heart's pharmacy inside its Panama City hospital complex will be transferred to CVS, effective Wednesday, May 8.   

"CVS/pharmacy has served the Panama City community for nearly 10 years and we are pleased to partner with Bay Medical Sacred Heart to extend our pharmacy services to their patients," said Troy Loupos, Region Manager of CVS/pharmacy. "All patient prescription and insurance information will be available at CVS seamlessly, with no interruption of services."

Bay Medical Sacred Heart's out-patients can visit any CVS/pharmacy location to fill their prescriptions. CVS also offers:

  • acceptance of electronic prescriptions
  • automated refill system
  • drive-through pharmacy window service
  • online prescription ordering for pick-up at the CVS location of a customer's choice
  • online and mobile resources to help patients keep track of and manage their prescriptions
  • free adherence outreach programs to help patients take their medications correctly
