UPDATE: Mexico Beach Boil Water Notice Rescinded

The boil water notice was rescinded on May 4 following the satisfactory completion of the bateriological survey showing that the water is safe to drink.

A construction project in Mexico Beach has several areas under a boil water notice.
The areas still impacted are the streets located east of 8th Street, located between Hwy 98 and Florida Avenue, extending to Hwy 386;  also impacted will be Alabama Drive, 1st Street and the streets which make up "the Triangle": Magnolia, Azalea, Oak, Pine, and Palm.
Residents are urged to boil water for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes.
