The Bay High football team finished 3-7 last year, 1-3 in district play, and head coach Jimmy Longerbeam says this season, despite losing several seniors, he's confidant in his young returners.
"This spring we're trying to develop some depth and get the new kids acclimated to our system," he said at practice Friday. "We've got some new coaches on board, so we changed some of the things we're doing. That's what our emphasis is this spring. We've had a great off season, they've done a great job in the weight room through the winter. We really feel good about the guys we have."
Bay will play in the Bay County Jamboree on May 17th, where they'll play Bozeman and Mosley.
