We need your junior forensic scientists to help unravel this tangled mystery! Students will become a member of an investigative team that will discover and develop the vital evidence by studying it in a laboratory setting.
The teams will conduct a number of experiments on the evidence such as fingerprints, blood, computer forensics and password hacking (ethical hacking). As a junior forensic scientist in training, the student will conduct hands-on experiments, gain new skills and knowledge and make new friends. The final day will be a mock crime scene of an excavation of a skeleton where the basic training and techniques that are learned will be applied.
The camp will be held at the North Bay Campus of Gulf Coast State College, Monday through Wednesday, July 15, 16, & 17, 9 am – 3 pm. The fee is $109 and is open to 10 – 14 year olds. An application is required. Please email Kelli Ferns at email@example.com or call 850) 769-1551 ext. 6108 or (850) 867-0732 to obtain an application and she will notify you by the end of June if you are selected.
