In golf news and former Mosley High School Alum and now Professional Golfer Chase Seiffert is in the process of continuing his young career with some Webb.com tour events and then will finish up his senior year at Florida State this Fall.
Chase played in his first PGA tournament as a pro last weekend shooting two over in two days missing the cut to play the weekend by just one stroke.
Chases play over the last year and this past week has drawn the attention of a lot of people, which is why Chase received the sponsors exemption into the St. Jude Classic last week.
Chase said, even though he didn't make the cut in his first PGA tour event, he was the beneficiary of experience of playing in front of large crowds which is experience you can only get while playing in an event like that.
Chase said "yeah i was just trying to focus on my shot you know they are there, but it's kind of in the back of your mind but your focusing on the shot at hand and trying to put the ball in a certain spot it is cool that when you hit a good shot you here the gallery go off and applaud you its pretty neat everybody kind of builds you up your in kind of in an arena with people watching you at all times while your putting while your warming up it's something different, but its something that is not really hard to get use to."
