For as long as I can remember I have had a great passion for the weather. I enjoy the challenging and rewarding task of forecasting the future of the atmosphere in order to keep viewers informed. Whether it's going to be a beautiful day at the beach or severe weather is looming, my number one goal is, and always will be, to make sure that people are prepared.
I'm originally from Detroit, Michigan, but I spent most of my childhood growing up in the Atlanta area before my family moved to Chicago in my early teens. From there, I went on to earn my Bachelor's degree in Meteorology at Valparaiso University in Indiana. During my college years I was able to forecast for a variety of weather situations. From lake effect snow squalls to tornadoes, we saw it all in Indiana. Beyond that, I also spent time in the Great Plains studying severe weather.
In my spare time, I like to enjoy the great outdoors. Whether it's running, fishing, or going to the beach, I'm up for anything and I look forward to all that the area has to offer.
I've worked as an intern Meteorologist at WAGA in Atlanta, WGN in Chicago, and WTTG in Washington, DC. Now, I'm proud to call Panama City my new home and I couldn't be happier to part of the News 13 Weather Team.
