The Bay County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to locate a suspect wanted in connection to a strong armed robbery.
On June 15, 2013, at about 2:50 a.m. a patrol deputy from the Bay County Sheriff's Office saw two women at the intersection of Sunset and Quarts Street in Panama City. One was crying and talking on a cell phone and the other woman was lying on the ground. The deputy made contact and learned the woman on the ground had just been beaten and robbed.
The victims, a mother and daughter, had been robbed by a man that was part of a group of people they had been out with for the evening. When the victims attempted to leave the group, a man in the group identified as David Izaiah Faciane, DOB 10-27-92, of 6209 Sunset Avenue, attacked the mother and took her money and cigarettes.
A warrant was issued for David Izaiah Faciane. Information was received that Faciane is currently driving a gold colored Hyundai, a vehicle he allegedly stole. Anyone with information on the location of David Izaiah Faciane is asked to contact the Bay County Sheriff's Office at 747-4700 or Crime Stoppers at 785-TIPS.
