Former Bay High Football Player Warren Is Now A Saint

Posted: Updated:

In football news, two months ago former Bay high standout former South Florida Bull, Jeremiah Warren was invited to the New Orleans Saints rookie camp. Now Warren has a two year contract with the Saints and is looking to make an impact when he returns to training camp next month.

Warren spent last year on the New England Patriots practice squad, but was then released by the Patriots before joining the Arizona Cardinals for the majority of the 2013 off-season.

He was given a tryout with the Saints during their rookie tryouts last month and signed with them shortly after.

Jeremiah said Wednesday that he is still very much learning to hone his skill and technique of Offensive Lineman in the NFL and said the veterans on the team and coaches are helping him improve and prepare for the speed of the NFL.

Warren Said, "well definitely not only the concentration aspect but the speed and the focus that everyone uses there's a lot of guys that have the talent that could play but do not have the mental focus to do the things that they do and there's just one thing that i constantly still learning from guys that have been in the league ten twelve years just taking the little bits and pieces and incorporate that into my everyday training."
