Posted: Updated:

Sergeant Carter Hess, son of State Attorney Glenn Hess, and his family have put together the Haul for Heroes 5k in order to give back to charities that have helped Hess over the past year.

The race location is at the Bay County Court House and there will also be a 5k walk and a one mile run. Hess says he is excited about the day and those who come out to support wounded warriors.

"We are looking forward to celebrating my Alive Day tomorrow an raising money for three great organizations that help the wounded warrior community," said Hess. "I'm looking forward to seeing everyone come out and support the race and seeing everyone out there."

If you are interested in running in the Haul for Heroes 5k there is still time to register.  You can arrive between 6:00 and 7:00 o'clock tomorrow morning at the race location for race day registration.
