Early Saturday Morning the Parker Police Department arrested five Bay Adults on various narcotic related charges.
This follows the discovery of an active methamphetamine lab that police found at the La Brisa Inn located on E. Highway 98 in Parker. The arrested are Jeffrey Allan Odom, Jodi Marie Rivera, Sean Ray Slawson, Jason Michael Thomas and Michael John Grossmann. All five were charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Distribute within 1000 feet of a Church, Manufacture of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Listed Chemical (Ephedrine), Possession Of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Slawson has also been charged with Renting or Leasing Property with the Intent on Manufacture or Possession of a Controlled Substance.
This lab was located across E. Highway 98 from a church and this address is next to a city park. All five were transported to the Bay County Jail pending first appearance in a local court.
In an unrelated investigation two Bay County men have been indicted in Federal Court for Conspiracy and Manufacture of Counterfeit Currency. An investigation conducted by Parker Police, Niceville Florida Police Department, Mobile Alabama Police Department and the U. S. Secret Service were involved in this investigation.
Arrested are Mark J. Elking and Adam S. Elking. Both are now being held in a Mobile Alabama Jail. Charges in Florida are also pending on both brothers.
