Baking is something you can do with you kids over the summer; all while teaching them life skills. Plus the smell baking bread leaves isn't too shabby. Here is the recipe:
Combine all ingredients until well blended. Cover and set aside for at least an hour. Scrape out onto a floured surface. Divide if you want and fold 6 times. Let rest for 10 minutes. Final fold to shape. Have oven at 450 and bake for 30 minutes. Score and bake.
Spread dough in a pan and bake for 12 minutes at 350 degrees. Add pie filling and balls of dough on top and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees
