Sarah Blei was excited to join the WMBB news team as a General Assignment Reporter in July 2013.

Sarah is no stranger to the Panhandle area. She grew up in Panama City Beach and only left for a few brief years to attend the University of West Florida in Pensacola, where she received a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism. While attending school, Sarah reported, anchored and worked behind-the-scenes for the student-run news show called Nautilus News.

Sarah's love of the television industry started early, when she took part in the team which televised school announcements each morning at Surfside Middle and J.R. Arnold High School. Sarah quickly discovered that the news business was her calling and is thrilled to be fulfilling her dream of reporting in her home town.

Sarah is definitely a creative soul who loves to read, write, and create all kinds of craft projects in her free time. Sarah loves to meet new people and she can't wait to learn more about the area and it's residents.

She believes that everyone has a story and would love to hear yours! If you'd like to share your story, or even just say hello feel free send her an email sblei@wmbb.com
