A man is in critical condition after falling from a hotel balcony in Panama City Beach.

Beach police said Armando Tovar Lopez of Nuevo Leon, Mexico fell from the second floor of the Days Inn on Front Beach Road just before 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

Investigators said the victim's friend told them Lopez had been drinking alcohol all day.  He was not responsive when officers arrived at the scene.

PCBPD said the hotel's security cameras showed Lopez, 33, climbing over the balcony railing and then disappearing from view.

He was transported to Bay Medical Sacred Heart and remained in "very critical" condition Sunday afternoon, according to the hospital's floor supervisor.
