Sharing Ramadan is in it's 9th year in Panama City. As a part of the five pillars of Islamic religion Muslims fast for an entire day starting before dawn.
Tuesday night Panama City Advanced School was host for the events and the Panama City community was invited to come and eat traditional Middle Eastern food as the members broke their fast.
Amr Dabour is the Imam or religious leader for this group. Dabour says this event is an important opportunity for the Islamic community.
"Because we want to share our event with them," said Dabour. "That's the main goal of it to share what we have with our neighbors and friends and let them know who we are."
The Islamic fast ended at sundown at 7:43pm Tuesday night.
