Missing Child Found Safe and Sound in Panama City

UPDATE: The Panama City Police Department confirms that 9-year-old Summer White was found this afternoon safe and sound.

White had been missing since around lunch time from her home near 21st Street and Lisenby Avenue. She was found unharmed at a house around the corner from her house.

The Panama City Police Department thanks the public for its help in the search.

Panama City Police are searching the west side of Panama City for a missing 9-year-old girl.

According to PCPD, Summer White left her house near 21st Street and Lisenby Avenue to walk to a friend's house to play around lunch time Thursday. She never arrived.

Summer is bi-racial, approximately 4' tall and weighs 80 lbs. She was wearing pink shorts and a light colored top.
