Last summer, Michael Duderstadt made history- becoming the first Bay County swimmer to qualify for the Olympic trials. Now, teammate Jonathan Ratliff is joining in on the fun.
Both Duder and Ratliff qualified for next weeks US Open in California, which has the same qualifying times as last year's Olympic trails. Duder will compete in the 100 and 200 breast, while Ratliff will swim in the 200 fly.
Both Ratliff and Duder helped Mosley High School to a second place finish at this year's Class 2A State meet. Duder is headed to Auburn next month to swim for the Tigers, while Ratliff is a rising high school senior.
