Southport Man Charged with Firing Gun at Tree Service Employees

A Southport man is accused of firing a gun at several tree service employees.

Bay County Sheriff's deputies say 50-year-old Robert James Reiter Jr. was arrested after officers arrived at his home on Sandra Grace Road.

Witnesses said he fired a rifle at two workers for H&H Tree Service.

When officers arrived they heard another shot coming from the home and attempted to get him to come out of the house.

Reiter then came out of the home and was arrested. He is charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
