A Panama City woman pleads guilty to federal charges, for stealing grant money.
The United States Attorney says Selena Jo Noblit, 42, pleaded guilty theft of bribery concerning programs receiving federal funds.
Noblit faces ten years in prison, three years of supervised release, a $250,000 fine, and a $100 special monetary assessment.
According to the criminal indictment, between June 2011 and May 2012, while serving as the Executive Director of the Apalachicola Housing Authority, Noblit embezzled and misapplied funds under the control of the Housing Authority for her personal gain and for the benefit of others who were not entitled to the funds.
Noblit is scheduled to be sentenced on November 14.
