Learning To Fly: An Up Close Look At Flyboarding

Posted: Updated:

Flyboarding is new to Panama City Beach, but it's all the rage. The extreme sport is still new to the American eye, as it's been in the United States just about two years.

"How would you feel if you see a guy bobbing in the water with a helmet on?" laughed Panama City Beach Flyboard owner Eddie Miller. "Next thing you know, he's out of the water and there's water jetting out of his feet?"

Miller owns Panama City Beach Flyboard, and says the sport draws a lot of stares from the shoreline. The flyboard is a sort of wakeboard that's attached to a hose, that's attached to a jet ski, that propels the flier into the air.

If you want more information on flyboarding, and to fly with Panama City Beach Flyboard (you'll learn to fly with certified instructors), check out their website here. They are also on Facebook, and you can "like" their page here.
