Bay District Schools Now Taking Online Payments for Fees
Parents now have the opportunity to pay fees online instead of sending cash or checks to school with their children. They can pay for field trips, t-shirts, club dues, yearbooks or anything that has a fixed price. This will save time for parents, teachers and the school bookkeeper.
The teacher receives an email when the parent makes a payment. The funds are deposited twice a month and the bookkeeper makes an entry in her computer. No insufficient checks, no lost, misplaced or stolen cash, no receipts to write and no trip to the bank for these payments.
Pilot programs were put in place at A. Crawford Mosley High School and Deer Point Elementary School with great results for everyone involved. The online payment system is also being used by Bay Base (after school program) and Voluntary Pre-kindergarten.
