A missing elderly man has been located, according to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.

JCSO received a report of a missing elderly adult on Sunday.

Shortly thereafter, Deputies made contact with the victim's wife where she advised them that her husband had departed the area in his pick-up truck, and that he currently suffers from dementia, and possibly the early stages of Alzheimer's disease.

He was located by the Franklin County Sheriff's office on Sunday night and returned home unharmed.

Sunday afternoon, Jackson County Sheriff's Office received a report of a missing elderly adult.  

Shortly thereafter, Deputies made contact with the victim's wife where she advised them that her husband had departed the area in his pick-up truck, and that he currently suffers from dementia, and possibly the early stages of Alzheimer's disease. 

Deputies learned that the elderly White male was Clark M. Hughes. He is 81 years of age and is described as 5'-10" in height, 180 lbs, small build, with white or gray short hair. 

Hughes is known to walk with a walking cane.  The victim's wife stated that Hughes made the statement that he was leaving to go and make contact with a relative whom has been deceased for a number of years.  

Hughes departed his residence in Marianna, driving Silver in color, 2010 Ford Ranger, in an unknown direction of travel.  The vehicle has a red in color camper shell attached to the bed of the truck and was bearing Florida tag Y7EEC.
