Panama City, FL Thursday, October 3, 2013 —As Tropical Storm Karen approaches the northern gulf coast, Red Cross is urging local citizens to review their preparedness kits and plans. The complete list of items that should be included in preparedness kits is available at www.redcross.org. According to Red Cross Director, Bob Pearce, "Now is the time to make sure that basic preparedness supplies are in place and vehicle fuel tanks are full. Stay tuned to local media and watch for announcements from Emergency Management."
