The Panama City Fire Department responded to a structure fire, Sunday, at 2900 W. 16th St.
The alarm was received at 12:55 a.m. and the first apparatus arrived on-scene at 12:57 a.m. The fire was brought under control at 1:21 a.m.
The fire was located at a vacant one-story commercial property, which received damage to the attic area, roof, and foyer area.
After an investigation by the Panama City Fire Department the fire was determined to be accidental. The building was being occupied by a transient when ignition took place.
