Federal Marshals Capture Fugitive from Ohio in Mossy Head
The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF) arrested a man this morning who was being sought by the Franklin County Sheriff's Office in Ohio.
James Michael O'Briant, 45, of 35 West Seneca Drive, Mossy Head, was taken into custody this morning without incident. O'Briant had a warrant for his arrest for three counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor.
The United States Marshals Service for the Southern District of Ohio requested assistance from the FRFTF after learning that O'Briant applied for a driver license in Florida with the address stated above.
The FRFTF from Walton, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa and Escambia County Sheriff's Offices assisted in the arrest. O'Briant was booked in the Walton County Department of Corrections without bond awaiting extradition.
