The swing of the knife sends one to the hospital and lands a suspect in custody.
Jackson County Sheriff's Deputies say Shawn Murry Ellsworth, 46, was arrested Tuesday after officers responded to a stabbing on Damascus Church Rd. in Graceville.
According to a report, the victim's mother took her to the Campbellton Graceville Hospital, with a laceration to her head.
The victim, Lori Munfort, is currently in stable condition at the hospital.
Ellsworth was charged and taken to the Jackson County Correctional Institution.

On December 3, 2013 deputies responded to a stabbing on Damascus Church Road, Graceville, Florida. While responding, deputies were advised that the victim was being transported to Campbellton Graceville Hospital by her mother. Upon arrival at the scene investigation revealed that Lori Munfort had a laceration to the right area of her head, caused by Shawn Ellsworth. Victim was in stable condition at the hospital.
Shawn Murry Ellsworth DOB November 30, 1967 was arrested for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and placed into Jackson county jail without incident.
