Panama City Police Investigating Theft of Donation Box from Hospital
The Panama City Police Department is investigating a theft of donation monies that occurred on December 15, 2013, at 7:50 a.m., at Bay Medical Center Sacred Heart Health System, 615 North Bonita Ave, Panama City.
Money was stolen from a donation box placed there by Anchorage Children's Home to be used to help children in need this Christmas. The suspect entered into the hospital lobby area and waited for people to leave before taking the donation box. The suspect left the area on foot toward Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
The suspect is described as a black male, between 5'7" and 6', 150 to 195 lbs, wearing a dark in color jacket and dark in color jeans.
The Panama City Police Department is asking for assistance from the community in gathering information about this suspect.
