Christmas came early for students at Oakland Terrace Elementary School on Thursday morning as Santa brought presents to every single boy and girl.
Teamed up with airmen from Tyndall to stuff all 371 bags and, of course, this was all made possible through the donations of anonymous business partners who wanted to ensure each child had a very merry Christmas.
With a surprise visit from the big man himself, the curtain revealed Santa's workshop on the school stage.
Screams and hugs filled the air, as the gift bag packed with toys, goodies and personal items were passed out to these deserving students.
Oakland Terrace School is a 100% free lunch school and the teachers know parents are doing their best, but may not always be able to provide a Christmas for their child.
Three years running, this is a way teachers are keeping the Christmas magic alive in the hearts and minds of their pupils.
The looks on their faces makes it all worth it, according to Principal Lendy Willis.
"As one of the teachers said to me, you know, this week has been crazy busy. All these activities, but then to see this, it reminds us of why we're in this business," said Willis
Students will also be sent home with backpacks filled with enough food to last through winter break.
