Panama City Police Searching for Suspect Who Escaped from Patrol Car

The Panama City Police Department is asking for assistance in locating an escaped prisoner, Ryan William Farmer.

Farmer, who was a passenger in a vehicle previously stopped by a Panama City Police Officer, was found to have warrants out of Alabama and Arkansas for non violent crimes. He was arrested and transported to the Bay County Jail, off of Star Ave. Prior to pulling into the jail facility, Farmer was able to escape from the rear of the marked patrol unit.

Ryan William Farmer was last seen shortly before midnight on December 21st. He is described as a 27 year old white male, 5'11 and 150 lbs with numerous tattoos on both arms, wearing a plaid shirt, blue jeans and black dress shoes. He was still handcuffed at the time of his escape.
