After escaping from custody, police have a suspect back behind bars.
Panama City Police say Ryan William Farmer, 27, was arrested on Saturday and while still in handcuffs, escaped from a PCPD patrol car and fled the scene, but tonight he was caught again.
He was originally taken into custody during a traffic stop where an officer found he had warrants in Alabama and Arkansas.
Several other arrests and charges are expected in this case.
Farmer was charged and taken to the Bay County Jail.

The Panama City Police Department announces the arrest of Ryan William Farmer, 27 years of
age. Farmer is being charged with one count of Escape, Petit Theft as well as other charges
related to warrants in Alabama and Arkansas. The arrest comes after an investigation that began
on December 21, 2013, when Farmer escaped from police custody. Farmer was apprehended
without incident at approximately 6:20 P.M. on December 23, 2013. Several other arrests and
charges are expected in this case. We would like to thank the U.S. Marshal's Florida Regional
Task Force for their assistance in the apprehension. The Task Force is comprised of members of
the U.S. Marshals, Panama City Police Department, Bay County Sheriff's Office and the
Washington County Sheriff's Office.
