Additional Arrests Made in Escape Case

The Panama City Police Department announces the arrest of several individuals related to the investigation of the escaped prisoner.

These arrests come after an investigation that began on December 21, 2013, when Ryan William Farmer escaped from police custody. Farmer was apprehended without incident at approximately 6:20 P.M. on December 23, 2013. Several other arrests and charges were expected in this case and the following individuals were also arrested:

  • Steven Watson, 18 years of age, charged with Aiding Escape and False Information During a Felony Investigation.
  • Patrick Jolly, 23 years of age, charged with Aiding Escape.
  • Allyson Hall, 44 years of age, charged with Aiding Escape and False Information During A Felony Investigation.
  • Justin Lanier, 24 years of age, charged with Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Bobby Lanier, 26 years of age, charged with Violation Of Probation and False Information During A Felony Investigation.
  • William White, 35 years of age, arrested on an outstanding warrant for burglary.
  • Seth Thompson, 18 years of age, charged with Possession OF Marijuana and Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia.

Additional charges could be filed in reference to this case. We would like to thank the U.S. Marshal's Florida Regional Task Force for their assistance in the apprehension. The Task Force is comprised of members of the U.S. Marshals, Panama City Police Department, Bay County Sheriff's Office and the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
