A Calhoun County sheriff's deputy is recovering from minor injuries after crashing his patrol car while transporting a prisoner.
According to the sheriff's office, the crash happened Saturday morning on State Road 20 in the Trammel Bridge construction zone.
Authorities said reserve deputy Keith Daniels was transferring an inmate from Liberty County to Calhoun County when lost control of the vehicle and hit the side of the bridge.
The inmate was not hurt and the Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
