A tractor-trailer rig crash in Holmes County closed a lane of Interstate 10 early Saturday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver told troopers he was westbound on I-10 when he fell asleep and the truck drifted into the median near mile marker 98.
The FHP said the driver, Kalid Yuya of Dallas, Texas, then lost control of the rig and it overturned. The truck stretched across the median and blocked the inside west bound lane of the highway.
Yuya, 32, was taken to Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay with minor injuries. A passenger in the truck, Roble Abdulahe of Lilburn, Georgia, was not injured.
The FHP said the inside lane of I-10 was closed for several hours after the crash.
