Perhaps you want to improve your skills or maybe learn something new?
Gulf Coast State College can help you do that and there's no test or grade needed to pass.
Their Education Encore classes. which are non-credit enrichment courses, will begin next week with registration already underway.
More than 60 subjects ranging from computer basics to art, and exercise to cooking, are open to anyone looking to learn.
Continuing Education Coordinator Jim Barr says this program reminds people it's never too late to learn and helps them live or re-live the college experience.
Barr says the program continues to grow more popular every year and this registration is a record one. He believes more and more individuals are realizing the importance continuing education has on the mind. "Just like exercising the body makes you physically fit, exercising the mind makes you mentally fit," said Barr.
Registration continues through Friday, January 24. Those interested in enrolling can do so in person or via mail or fax. Online registration is closed.
