One teenager was killed and two others injured in a traffic crash in Jackson County early Saturday morning.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded to the scene on SR-71 South, one-half mile south of Suncrest Road, at 4:15 a.m.
According to the FHP, Nolan Bailey Musgrove of Altha was driving his 1999 Chevrolet Silverado south on 71 when the truck drifted off the road and collided with a utility pole. The impact caused the truck to spin and overturn, the FHP said.
Musgrove, 16, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other sixteen year olds, Emily Sewell of Blountstown and Tryston Cole Miller of Altha, were taken to Jackson Hospital in Marianna with minor injuries.
