Heart disease is the number one killer of women in America.  The American Heart Association is trying to bring awareness about the disease through National Wear Red Day.  Everyone is encouraged to wear red on Friday, February 7.

You can also go to the Go Red for Women website and use the Heart Check-up Tool.  The tool will evaluate your heart disease risk factors.  You'll answer questions about your family health history, blood pressure, lifestyle, and cholesterol.  The goal is to catch heart disease before it's too late.
