Proving you can't keep a good man down, a teacher at a Bay County High School is making a comeback after an incident that could have led to the end of his career.
While recovering from pneumonia Mosley High's head of the drama department, Bruce Taws was diagnosed with cancer in his left lung leading to the removal of most of the lung leaving him out of pocket for over two months. Bruce is back now leading his students at Mosley and says he now has certain goals set for his years ahead at the school.
Taws says he's been blessed and now he just wants to commit his last few years of teaching to stepping up and being the best teacher he can be for his students.
Bruce has been heading up drama departments in schools in Gulf and Bay counties for over thirty years.
