A stabbing Saturday night in Marianna sent a man to the hospital and a woman to jail.
According to a news release from the Jackson County Sheriff's Office (JCSO), deputies responded to the scene on Bright Prospect Road at 8:45 p.m. and found the victim suffering from a stab wound to the back.
The victim reportedly told deputies he had gotten into an argument with Rowena Dixon and she attacked him.
Dixon, 58, was found walking away from the scene and arrested, the JCSO said. She was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and taken to the Jackson County Correctional Facility.
The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to a hospital in Dothan, Alabama for treatment. His condition is not known.
