It's not football season yet, but for the Panama City Beach Dolphins, it's already time to start hitting the gridiron.
The team will host a couple of free camps for kids ages 5 through twelve. Football conditioning and practice will be held on one side of the field, while those interested in showing their support on the sidelines will learn cheers and chants.
This serves as an opportunity to get kids involved and see if they're interested in registering with the team, where they can play or cheer at games in the fall.
"These kids will have memories that will last for a long time," said Coach Chris Harris with the Panama City Beach Dolphins. "I mean some of the things they go through out here, they won't get to experience another way."
The first camp is Saturday, April 5, at 9:00 A.M. at Frank Brown Park in Panama City Beach. Participation is free. They will host another free camp on June 7.
Currently, registration to be part of the team, where kids will play or cheer at games in the Fall, is being offered at a discounted price. Now through August 1, it costs $120 before it increases to $150.
