There was no dress code required for a very special church service this morning, and that's because Easter Sunday at Woodlawn Methodist Church celebrates with a service on the worlds most beautiful beaches.
While many headed out to Easter services inside this morning, locals and tourists alike hit the back deck at Sharky's Beach Front Restaurant for their Sunday service, wearing flip flops, shorts and even short sleeves.
All came for the same reason though, and that was for worship and praise.
Executive Pastor Steve Irwin says he is always excited to see all the visitors coming to worship on Easter.
"Many of them come and they are down here enjoying the beach and the beautiful area that we have, so to give them a place that they can come and worship god and then go and enjoy his beauty is an exciting thing for us that is what we are all about just meeting people where they are and helping them see where god would like them to be," Irwin said.
Woodlawn Methodist Church has worship on the beach each Sunday at Sharky's starting at 8:30 a.m.
