Zooworld Holds Easter Egg Hunt

Posted: Updated:
Thousands of children from around Bay County spent Saturday hunting Easter eggs and today was no different. But at Zoo World in Panama City Beach, kids spent this morning looking for a much different kind of egg.

From bearded dragon eggs to bird eggs to even Burmese python eggs, today was about the colored varieties.

For the last 8 years Zoo World in Panama City Beach has welcomed families in for it's annual Easter egg hunt.

Over 1,500 eggs along with toys were spread through out the park for more than 100 kids to find.

Stephanie Sinnett, director of education started the hunt at Zoo World and is excited about it's growth over the last eight years.

"It's grown every since and the more people get involved and make it their family tradition. We see a lot of people coming year after year after year so it's become part of their family tradition," Sinnett said.

Two gold eggs were put out for kids to find and the lucky one to find them received a large basket full of Easter candy.
